Amelanchier lamarckii 'Ballerina'
Snowy mespilus
'Ballerina' is grown for its large white flowers, followed by dark blue berries that are edible and sweet once fully ripe. Left unpruned it makes a broad, multi-stemmed shrub of light, open branching that reads well in front of a darker hedge or wall.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
