Fargesia scabrida 'Asian Wonder'

Bamboo

New culms emerge purple-tinted and wrapped in red-brown sheaths, a contrast that shows well against the very fine foliage. 'Asian Wonder' is a hardy, non-running bamboo of bushy habit, best placed in half-shade where the leaf colour stays fresh.

Delivery & establishment
Plants are delivered by refrigerated transport from Pistoia. Large specimens are shipped on pallets; delivery is quoted per order. We can advise on planting season and establishment for any item in the range.
About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
