Bougainvillea 'Barbara Karst'
Bougainvillea
Red bracts cover the growth of 'Barbara Karst' over a long season, carried on a vigorous evergreen climber that runs 6-8 m up a support and 4-6 m across. It needs full sun, a warm wall and firm shortening of the flowered shoots.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
