Buxus sempervirens 'Elegans'
Common box
A cream margin runs around each small green leaf, so the whole plant reads pale grey-green from a distance. Slower and lighter in tone than plain box, it reaches 4-6 m by 3-5 m over many years and is hardy to zone 6A.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
