Ceanothus pallidus 'Marie Simon'
California Lilac
Unusual among ceanothus for its soft pink flowerheads, this deciduous form makes a rounded bush of 1–1.50 m each way. It flowers on the current year's shoots, is hardy to zone 7, and prefers a sunny, sheltered place on light, well-drained soil.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
