Cupressus macrocarpa 'Goldcrest'
Monterey cypress
'Goldcrest' is strongly golden from top to bottom, carried in a tight pyramid 6 to 8 metres tall and 2.5 to 3 metres wide. The foliage is finely divided and lemon-scented when brushed, and the plant belongs in the mildest, effectively frost-free positions.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
