Fraxinus oxycarpa 'Raywood'
Claret ash
The dark green, narrow leaflets of 'Raywood' turn deep red in autumn, and that colouring is the reason the tree is planted. It reaches 15-20 m with a crown of 10-12 m and keeps a fairly upright, regular shape. Hardy from zone 6B.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
