Ginkgo biloba (Salisburia Adiantifolia)
Maidenhair tree
Ginkgo biloba carries fan-shaped green leaves that turn clear golden yellow in autumn. The habit is upright, opening out with age, and the tree is notably untroubled by urban conditions, which is why it is so often used in streets, squares and larger gardens.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
