Gleditsia triacanthos 'Skyline'
Honey locust
'Skyline' has glossy green, finely cut leaves on a strong, well-branched frame, coming to about 15 m tall and 7 m wide. The thornless growth and the light shade it casts make it a common choice for streets, car parks and courtyards from zone 5A.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
