Leptospermum scoparium
Manuka, tea tree
An evergreen shrub of 2-4 m with a spread of 1.5-2.5 m, offered in pink, red and white flowered forms. The small, closely set leaves give a fine texture that contrasts with broad-leaved evergreens. Rated for zone 9, so it needs a mild, sheltered site and acid, free-draining soil.

Delivery & establishment
Plants are delivered by refrigerated transport from Pistoia. Large specimens are shipped on pallets; delivery is quoted per order. We can advise on planting season and establishment for any item in the range.
About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
