Ligustrum texanum 'Silver Star'
'Silver Star' is the variegated form, evergreen, with foliage margined and marked in cream. It stays a little smaller than the plain green type at 2-3 m high and 1.5-2 m wide. The pale variegation shows up well in shade, where solid green hedging can read as a flat mass. Hardy to zone 8.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
