Liquidambar styraciflua 'Worplesdon'
American sweetgum
Deeply lobed leaves are the mark of this selection; green through the season, they turn yellow and orange in autumn. It grows into an upright, conical tree that broadens with age. Full sun and soil that does not dry out give the strongest colouring.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
