Lonicera caprifolium
Italian honeysuckle
Semi-deciduous twining climber whose flowers open cream-white and pass to yellow, often shaded with pink. It threads readily through a trellis, an arch or an open shrub without needing to be tied in. Sun or half shade, on soil that stays reasonably moist.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
