Nandina domestica 'Gulf Stream'
Sacred bamboo
Compact and dense, with young foliage in pink and purple tones that shift towards orange through autumn and winter. It settles at about 0.9 m high and 0.9-1 m across, so it holds a line in low planting. Hardy to zone 6, in sun or light shade.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
