Dancer
Topiary · Ligustrum delavayanum
Caught in mid-turn, the dancer is clipped from Ligustrum delavayanum, the body twisted and one arm lifted clear. Evergreen foliage is kept dense on the torso and cut finer along the limbs so the movement reads. Best on a plinth, where the whole figure is visible from below.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
