Polygonum baldschuanicum
Russian vine
Twining climber carrying masses of small white flowers in loose sprays. Growth is fast and free, so it is used to cover fences, outbuildings and similar structures quickly rather than for restrained planting. Cut back hard when it outgrows its space.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
