Raphiolepsis umbellata 'Ovata'
Yeddo hawthorn
White flowers are carried in short upright clusters over broad, thick, dark green leaves. The bush is dense and rounded, and holds its shape without much attention. Often planted in coastal gardens and in low, evenly clipped groups.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
