Salix caprea 'Pendula'
Kilmarnock willow
A small weeping willow, 1.5-2.5 m high and 1-1.5 m across, usually worked on a standard stem. In February and March golden yellow catkins open all along the still-bare shoots, before the leaves. The umbrella of hanging branches then leafs out for the summer.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
