Large-leaved linden grows columnar, reaching 25-30 m tall and 15-20 m wide, with young shoots that take on a reddish cast. Its flowers are the most strongly scented of the limes, and the green leaves turn yellow in autumn. Hardy to zone 4.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre.
