Two stacked wing planes and a short fuselage make up this biplane, clipped from Ligustrum delavayanum. The gap between the wings has to be kept open by hand, which the small evergreen leaf makes possible. Shown on a plinth, the piece keeps its outline through the year.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
