Acer palmatum 'Dissectum Inaba Shidare'

Laceleaf Japanese maple

Red-purple, deeply dissected leaves hang from arching shoots on 'Inaba Shidare', one of the stronger-growing laceleaf maples. The habit is weeping and broad, and it is best appreciated where the cascade of foliage is not crowded by neighbours.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
