Cornus controversa 'Variegata'
Wedding Cake Tree
The branches of this dogwood are arranged in distinct horizontal tiers, and the white-variegated leaves emphasise each layer. It grows to 7–8 m with a 4–5 m spread, is hardy to zone 7A, and needs open space around it for the tiered structure to be read.

Delivery & establishment
Plants are delivered by refrigerated transport from Pistoia. Large specimens are shipped on pallets; delivery is quoted per order. We can advise on planting season and establishment for any item in the range.
About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
