Eucalyptus cinerea

Argyle apple

Glaucous blue-grey foliage covers the whole tree, evergreen and aromatic when crushed. Eucalyptus cinerea makes 15 to 20 metres in height with a 5 to 6 metre spread in a frost-free climate, and it is often kept much smaller by regular cutting.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
