Eucalyptus globulus

One of the largest eucalypts in cultivation, reaching 15 to 50 metres tall and 15 to 35 metres across where the climate allows. The foliage is glaucous and evergreen, and the trunk sheds its bark in long strips as the tree grows.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
