Juniperus chinensis 'Pfitzeriana Aurea'

Chinese juniper

One of the larger spreading junipers, reaching 2-3 m high and 3-4 m across with wide, outward-angled branches. The foliage is yellow, which keeps the plant visible in winter borders. Hardy to zone 5A and best given space to develop its full width.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
