Juniperus horizontalis 'Andorra Compacta Variegata'

Creeping juniper

This selection matches the plain Andorra type in size and habit, 0.3-0.4 m high by 1.5-2 m wide, but its foliage is variegated with cream. The lighter markings break up the mass of a low planting and read clearly against dark mulch or stone. Hardy to zone 5B.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
