Juniperus horizontalis 'Wiltonii'

Creeping juniper

'Wiltonii' trails rather than mounds, its blue shoots running out to 1-1.5 m while the plant stays 0.1-0.2 m tall. That habit makes it a good subject for the top of a wall or a raised planter, where the growth can spill downward. Hardy to zone 5A.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
