Pennisetum messiacum 'Red Bunny Tails'
Fountain grass
Green foliage forms compact clumps topped by short, bristly red flower spikes. The habit stays tidy at around 80 cm, so the plant holds its place at the front of a planting. Evergreen and hardy to zone 7, it suits gravel gardens, low borders and containers.

Delivery & establishment
Plants are delivered by refrigerated transport from Pistoia. Large specimens are shipped on pallets; delivery is quoted per order. We can advise on planting season and establishment for any item in the range.
About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
