Eucalyptus gunnii
Cider gum
Small, rounded blue leaves crowd the young shoots and give this species its familiar silvered outline. Eucalyptus gunnii will run to 15 to 20 metres tall and 5 to 6 metres wide if left alone, and it takes more cold than most of the eucalypts.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
