Hibiscus 'Hamabo'

Hibiscus 'Hamabo'

Rose of Sharon

Single pink flowers marked with red blotches at the base of the petals give 'Hamabo' a soft, shaded appearance. It makes an upright deciduous shrub of 2-3.5 m in height and 2-2.5 m across, useful as a specimen or in an informal flowering hedge in full sun.

About sizes
CLT is a container volume in litres, VRL the same in a decorative red container. M is a field-grown plant lifted with its root ball, MGR the same grown in isolation and wire-balled. RN is bare root, available in the dormant season. T is a full standard and POT a planter. Heights are given as a range in centimetres; trunk girth is the circumference measured at one metre. A larger container is not always dearer: a trained or grafted form of the same volume costs more than a bush, and the form is named on the row.
